I have been a personal trainer for over 7 years but my passion for fitness and being active has a been my lifestyle for my entire life. Throughout my childhood into adolescence I had played almost every sport imaginable at some point. This has carried on into my adulthood, playing both basketball and all types of football any chance I get. As a personal trainer my main goal is to improve my clients’ lifestyles. Getting shape should make someone’s life more enjoyable. If I can help someone reduce the pain the are feeling or overcome certain barriers that hold them back from living their life to the fullest then my job is done.
Here at MacDonald & Woods we offer personal training with a focus on exercise therapy. Exercise therapy is the idea that we can help heal or lessen the impact of injuries and disabilities by exercising through specific training techniques and approaches design to overcome this issues. Although we are not physiotherapy we do perform a similar function and often work best in conjunction with physiotherapy.
